Freshness Guaranteed

To ensure your fresh flowers last as long as possible, we often ship our blooms in the bud phase. If your flowers arrive looking a little shy, don’t worry—simply give them a fresh trim and some water, and they will beautifully unfurl over the next few days.

Please note: While the specific stems may vary based on the morning’s best market finds, any substitutions will always be of equal or greater value to maintain our high aesthetic standards.

Flower Delivery Dublin & Ireland: Rates & Times

At The Crate, we pride ourselves on getting your seasonal blooms from our studio to your door with speed and care. Whether you need a last-minute gift in the city or a surprise sent across the country, here is everything you need to know about our Irish flower delivery service.

Dublin Delivery (7 Days a Week)

We offer same-day flower delivery in Dublin from Monday to Sunday.

• Cut-off: Place your order by 1:00 PM for delivery the very same day.
• Availability: We deliver across Dublin every day of the week (excluding Bank Holiday Mondays).

Nationwide Delivery (Ireland & Northern Ireland)

Sending love further afield? We provide next-day flower delivery throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland, Tuesday to Friday.

• Cut-off: Place your order by 1:00 PM for next-day arrival.
• Bank Holidays: During Bank Holiday weeks, our nationwide service operates from Wednesday to Friday.

• Pre-Order for Peace of Mind: We curate our bunches in small batches to ensure freshness. Because we often sell out, we highly recommend pre-ordering your flowers for your preferred date.
• Timing: To keep our flat-rate delivery affordable, we cannot guarantee specific time slots. If your flowers are needed for a morning event, we recommend selecting a delivery date one day in advance.
• Check Your Details: If you are using Google Pay, Apple Pay, or Shop Pay, please double-check the recipient's address at the final confirmation. These services often auto-fill your own home address as the default.
• Need a Change? If you notice an error in your order, email us immediately at hello@thecrate.ie. Our team is happy to amend addresses or gift notes as long as the bunch hasn't left the studio.

Unboxing Your Blooms

We pack our flowers tightly to keep them safe on their journey. Because they’ve been traveling, some blooms may arrive in the "bud" phase. To help them reach their full potential:

1. Carefully unbox and remove the protective cone.
2. Trim the stems at a 45-degree angle.
3. Place them in a vase of fresh water.
4. Watch as they open up and settle into their new home over 24–48 hours.
