Questions, answered

Everything you need to know before you send flowers.

How does the weekly changing bunch work?

Instead of offering a static catalogue of traditional bouquets, our florists design one signature wildflower-style arrangement every week using the best seasonal blooms and foliage available — usually around 15 seasonal flower stems such as roses, gladiolus, peonies, a curious stem to keep you interested and eucalyptus and Irish grown greenery. You always send what is freshest in season, and you never send the same bunch twice. The new bunch drops every weekend, and you can order the current week's bunch directly from our shop.

Why does a bunch cost €50?

€50 buys 15 seasonal stems, hand-tied and delivered — the Double Bunch is 30 stems for €75. The price reflects the stem count and the fact that we buy small batches of whatever is at its best that week, rather than shipping the same imported flowers year-round.

What's the difference between the Single and Double Bunch?

The Single Bunch includes 15 seasonal stems (€50), perfect for a thoughtful gesture. The Double Bunch includes 30 seasonal stems (€75), ideal when you want to make a bigger impact.

When will my flowers be delivered?

Same-Day Dublin delivery is available 7 days a week if you order by 1:00 PM. Next-Day Nationwide delivery to Ireland and Northern Ireland runs Tue–Fri via DPD. If you need delivery within 9am–5pm office hours, please order in advance for Next-Day Delivery — same-day office-hours delivery can't be guaranteed as it depends on courier routes.

Will the recipient know when it's arriving?

Yes — for Next-Day Nationwide orders, DPD texts the recipient a 1-hour delivery slot on the morning of delivery. For Same-Day Dublin orders, you'll receive an email confirmation as soon as your flowers leave our studio and are out for delivery with our same day courier partner Xpect.

What if the flowers arrive damaged?

We'll ensure this is corrected speedily for you! If your flowers arrive damaged, email us a photo within 24 hours of delivery and we'll send a replacement or refund you in full. You can reach us at hello@thecrate.ie.

Is your packaging really recyclable?

Our signature outer boxes and wraps our 100% recyclable as are our hydration bags that keep stems fresh and watered in transit.
