Whether you're looking for same-day flower delivery in Dublin or a seasonal surprise sent nationwide, we’ve made the process beautifully simple. Find everything you need to know about our delivery zones, times, and flower care below.


Delivery Zones & Schedules

Where does The Crate deliver?

We offer reliable flower delivery across the entire island of Ireland:

  • Dublin: 7 days a week (Monday–Sunday).

  • Nationwide (Ireland & Northern Ireland): Tuesday–Friday.

  • Please note: Nationwide delivery is unavailable on Bank Holidays.

What are your delivery times?

Our drivers and courier partners typically deliver between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

  • During peak seasons: Delivery times in Dublin may extend to 9:00 PM to ensure everyone gets their blooms.

  • While we cannot guarantee a specific minute-by-minute time slot, our routes are optimised for efficiency and freshness.

Can I get same-day flower delivery?

Yes! We offer same-day flower delivery in Dublin for all orders placed before 1:00 PM (subject to stock availability).

  • Nationwide orders placed before 1:00 PM will be scheduled for next-day delivery.

  • Orders placed after 1:00 PM will be added to the following day's schedule.

Can I pre-order for a specific date?

Absolutely. You can nominate a future delivery date using the calendar at checkout. We’ll ensure your flowers are freshly curated and dispatched for that exact day.


Tracking & Receiving Your Flowers

How much does delivery cost?

We keep it simple: Delivery is a flat rate of €7 for all orders. This includes same-day Dublin delivery, weekend deliveries, and our nationwide courier service.

How can I track my order?

  • Dublin Deliveries: You will receive an email notification the moment your flowers leave our studio.

  • Nationwide (DPD): You will receive a text or email from DPD with a one-hour delivery window on the day of delivery. You can manage your delivery preferences directly through the DPD portal.

What if no one is home to receive the flowers?

Don't worry, we won't let your blooms wither!

  • Dublin: If the recipient isn't home, our driver will leave the flowers in a safe place or with a neighbour and send a text to the recipient.

  • Nationwide: DPD will leave the package in a designated safe place or with a neighbour.

  • Stay Fresh: Every Crate bunch is wrapped in a specially designed hydration bag to keep the stems "fed" and fresh while they wait for you.


Our Flowers & Sustainability

Can I choose specific flowers for my bunch?

To ensure the highest quality and zero waste, we offer one unique style of flowers each week. By changing our offering weekly based on seasonal availability, we guarantee you never get the same bunch twice! It’s the easiest way to enjoy the best of the season without the decision fatigue.

Will my bunch look exactly like the photo?

As we work with living, seasonal products, we restock throughout the week. If a specific flower is unavailable, we will replace it with a bloom of equal or greater value to ensure your bunch is just as stunning as pictured.

Is the packaging eco-friendly?

Yes. Every bunch is packaged in 100% recyclable materials—from the box and wrapping to the hydration bag.


Changes, Cancellations & Support

I made a mistake! Can I change the address or gift message?

If you need to amend a delivery address, gift message, or delivery date, please email us immediately at hello@thecrate.ie. As long as your order hasn't left our studio with the driver, we’ll be happy to fix it for you.

What is your cancellation policy?

Orders can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours after purchase. After this window, we have likely already secured your seasonal stems from our growers.

What if my flowers arrive damaged or wilted?

While this is rare, we want you to be 100% happy.

  1. Damaged in transit: Please email photos of the damaged box and flowers to hello@thecrate.ie within 24 hours.

  2. Freshness issues: Flowers are living products! Please follow the care instructions included. If they still look unhappy after a trim and a drink, send us photos within 24 hours, and we will arrange a redelivery.

Note: Photographs are required within 24 hours of receipt to process any claims or replacements.
