Where Do We Deliver To?

We deliver to Dublin (within 20km of our studio in Rathfarnham) Monday to Friday. 

We offer nationwide delivery throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland Tuesday to Friday.

What Days Do We Deliver?

We deliver flowers Monday – Friday, except on Bank Holiday Mondays where delivery is unavailable.

We offer same day Dublin delivery (within 20km of eircode D14 NH27) Monday - Friday via our Dublin courier service.

We offer next day Nationwide delivery Tuesday - Friday via our courier partner DPD.

“What Times Do We Deliver?”

Our delivery drivers deliver between 9am – 6pm. Due to our delivery drivers scheduled routes we cannot offer specific delivery times.

“Can I Order Flowers For Same Day Delivery?”

Yes we offer same day local Dublin delivery (within 20km of eircode D14 NH27) for orders placed before *10am.

We offer next day nationwide delivery for orders placed before *10am. 

*while stock is available

Orders placed after 10am will be added to the following days delivery schedule (within 20K of eircode D14 NH27), and the day after that for Nationwide delivery

“Can I pre-order Flowers?”

Yes, you can pre-order flowers. Just select the nominated day you would like the flowers to be delivered on, from the calendar on our website and these will be delivered between 9am - 6pm that day.

“Can I Choose Specific Types of Flowers For My Order?”

We offer one style of flowers that changes weekly, made up of seasonally available flowers, so we cannot accommodate specific flower requests. The beauty of this is that you never get the same flowers twice and it makes for easy decision making!

“Who Do I Contact If I Have An Issue With My Order?”

We care so much about the happiness of our customers and want to ensure you’re happy with both our flowers and service, so any issues, please contact us at hello@thecrate.ie including your order number and contact name.

“What If No One Is Home To Receive The Flowers?”
Our Dublin flowers are delivered via our local Dublin courier service. If no one is home and a suitable safe place available, the driver will deliver the flowers to the safe place or a neighbour. The driver will text the recipient to let them know where their flowers have been left. 

Nationwide flowers are delivered via our courier partner DPD. You will receive a one hour slot for scheduled delivery. You can manage your delivery with them directly. If no one is home at the time of delivery flowers will be left in a designated safe place or with a neighbour.

All of our bunches are wrapped with a hydration source so your flowers are kept fresh and well fed in transit.

“How Do I Know The Flowers Have Been Delivered?”

For Dublin delivery, you will receive an email once your flowers have left our studio along with the driver's contact number. 

For Nationwide delivery, you will receive an email confirmation to let you know your flowers have been delivered to the given address.

“What If I Forgot To Add A Message To My Order For The Recipient?”

Contact us at hello@thecrate.ie and so long as your order has not yet left with the delivery driver, we will add the message to one of our branded cards.

“What If I Gave The Wrong Delivery Address For The Recipient?”

Contact us at hello@thecrate.ie and so long as your order has not yet left with the delivery driver, we will amend the delivery address and instructions.

“After Ordering Flowers, I’ve Found Out The Recipient Is Away The Day Of Delivery. Can I Change My Order Day?”

Contact us at hello@thecrate.ie and so long as your order has not yet left with the delivery driver, we will do our best to accommodate this change to a different delivery day.

“What if my flowers have been damaged by the courier in transit?”

Although this is a very infrequent occurrence, we know there is a chance it can happen. Please photograph any damage to the flower box and contents inside and email them to hello@thecrate.ie within 24 hours of receipt along with your order number. Our customer care team will review and follow up directly with our courier service. Please note, we must have images in order to file a claim with our courier company.

“What if my flowers arrive discoloured or wilted?”

Please note, this happens very infrequently, however as flowers are a living product, we emphasise that the care instructions provided with every bunch, will need to be followed to ensure you get the longest life length out of your bunch. This includes trimming each stem on arrival and giving them a good drink. If you are still unhappy for any reason, please email hello@thecrate.ie with images of the flowers within 24 hours of receipt along with your order number and our customer care team will arrange for a redelivery on a date of your choosing.

We must receive photographs within the 24 hour window or you will not be eligible for a refund or replacement. 

“How can I track my order?”

For Dublin deliveries (within 20km of eircode D14 NH27), you will be notified by email when your order has left the studio which will include the drivers contact details for any queries regarding your delivery.

For Nationwide deliveries, you will be notified by DPD when your flowers are out for delivery and provided with a one hour delivery time slot. If you need to make any amendments to your delivery, you can do so via DPD directly.

“Can I request a specific time for delivery?”

For Dublin deliveries, we can't specify delivery times as it is dependent on the delivery driver's schedule, however we can make note of the request on the order for delivery. 

For Nationwide deliveries, you will be notified by DPD when your flowers are out for delivery and provided with a one hour delivery time slot. If you need to make any amendments to your delivery, you can do so via DPD directly.

“How much is delivery?”

The great news is that we offer free same day Dublin delivery and next day Nationwide delivery for orders placed before 10am.

“How to care for my flowers?”

There are a few easy steps  you can follow to best care for your flowers which can be viewed on our website here.

“Will the bunch look as pictured?”

Because we always want our flowers to be as fresh as possible, we restock continuously throughout the week.  However, if a flower is unavailable it will be replaced with another of the same or greater value.

“I need to cancel my order”

Orders can be cancelled up to 48 hours after purchase. Alternatively, we can reschedule the delivery to a date of your choosing.
